About Us
CheckMyRaise exists to answer one question honestly: what is a raise actually worth? Not the headline percentage — the amount that lands in each paycheck, and whether it keeps up with rising prices.
Our calculators follow three rules. They are free, with no signup and no email wall. They are private: every calculation runs in your browser and nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere. And they are honest about assumptions: gross arithmetic is labeled as arithmetic, and anything that depends on a rate you enter — deductions, inflation — is labeled as an estimate.
Who runs CheckMyRaise
Shahzaib Hassan is the founder and editor of CheckMyRaise. He built these calculators to make everyday pay math clear, fast and private — the kind of numbers people usually work out on the back of an envelope, done accurately in the browser with the assumptions shown.
The results here are educational estimates, not payroll, tax, legal or financial advice. Every formula is published and testable, and corrections are welcome.
