Questions, corrections, or feedback about the calculators? Send us a message below — we read every one and reply when a response is needed.

Reporting a wrong number

This is the message we most want to receive. If a calculator gives a result you believe is wrong, tell us the exact values you entered, which tool you used, the figure it produced, and the figure you expected. With those four things we can reproduce the problem in minutes; without them we usually cannot.

Before writing, it is worth checking the formula on our methodology page — most surprising results come from a difference in assumptions, such as paid weeks per year or which inflation rate is being applied, rather than from an arithmetic error. How we handle and publish corrections is set out in our editorial policy.

What we cannot help with

We cannot give personal payroll, tax, legal, or financial advice, and we cannot tell you what your take-home pay will be or what you should ask for in a negotiation. Those answers depend on your filing status, location, benefits, and employer, none of which we know or want to know. For a binding answer, speak to your payroll department or a qualified professional.

We also cannot look up an entry you made in a calculator. Nothing you type is stored anywhere, so there is no record for us to retrieve — including for you.
